Jonathan Early has been an antique restorer and gilder for over 30 years working on a huge range of projects from Antique Chinoiserie and Toleware, Painted Furniture and Picture Frame Restoration to gilding for modern furniture and bespoke hand-painted tiles.

Jonathan studied Fine Art at Middlesex University from 1983-1987 and then spent 2 years learning antique restoration in Islington, London before setting up his own workshop.

In 2002 he moved to Gloucestershire and works there from his studio in Stroud.

Clients include: antique dealers in Gloucestershire, London and the USA. He often works in tandem with picture conservators and restorers. Picture framers looking for a more bespoke finish use his services.
